Life as Zero's and One's

A Private Genome with Biological Domain Service

Over the years we'e watched our online persona evolved.  First it was our email, then our photos, then our stuff, our music, our friends, our work contacts and soon our genomes.

As each part of our life become digitized a new file format emerges and transforms the web.    How will genomes as a data file format transform the web?

My guess is that genomes will cause the web to evolve into a biological based network.  People will see their genomes used as part of the health record, then to track medical devices associated with them till eventually their genome is used to convert them into a node on the network.

I hope that eventually each person could use their genome to convert themselves into their own domain - like a biological based DNS service.   In doing so - individuals could choose who to register their biological domain with and then control what user information was associated with that domain as well as who had accessed to it.
